Knowing your worth is only half the battle. Enforcing it is where most find difficulty.

Peace, Love and Blessing Friends, Happy Thursday! Let me first start of by stating that Self-worth and Self-esteem while society conditions us to believe are the same things aren't. It’s not uncommon to feel inadequate, whether it’s issues surrounding your career, relationships, or finances. We've all had moments where we felt like we weren’t good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, thin enough, strong enough, worthy enough or doing enough.

Self worth is based on the value you place on yourself and what you think about yourself. The Journey to True Worth Starts Within. Getting to the place of knowing your true worth is one of life’s journeys. Settling for less than you deserve, chasing love that isn’t yours, being afraid to speak authentically and being overly concerned with your partner’s thoughts of you are all signs of not knowing your worth. The most important person that matters is you. You are the one who determines your true self worth. In my life, I’ve created my destiny within my career, friendships and community. With friends, I’ve really embraced the fact that friends are all unique pieces of a pie. Some will be lifetime friends that are next to family, some are social friends, some acquaintances. I’ve learned to appreciate the various types and unique forms of value each friend brings, and as well as a system of how much and what kind of energy I invest to whom. I’ve learned to embrace self love. And while I’ll always be a perpetual student in this journey, I’ve made the decision to apply my successful method in dealing with friendships and business to how I do my relationships.

I’ve stopped apologizing for who I am and have learned that I am “perfect” the way I am, right now, right here. I will constantly be growing, evolving and working on bad habits, but those flaws, those imperfections are part of the beauty that makes me, me.When you love yourself, you take pride in who you and what you have to offer. Self-respect and self-esteem play hand in hand with one another. Self-esteem gives you the confidence to succeed and without it you are simply placing limitations on yourself.Be kind to yourself as you grow.
