Anna Wintour welcomes her first granddaughter

Vogue editor and chief Anna Wintour welcomed her first grand child on Tuesday, March 28th. Wintour's song Charles Shaffer and his wife, Lizzy, had their first child Caroline Shaffer. The baby weighed 6 lbs, 14 oz.

Shaffer and his wife were married in 2014 at Wintour's home in upstate New York. Wintour, who has been with Vogue for almost 30 years, must be thrilled to be a first time grandmother.

Wintour's daughter Bee recently announced her engagement to Francesco Carrozzini. Carrozzini is the son of Franca Sozzani, former Vogue Italia editor who passed away December 2016.

After the birth of baby Caroline, Aunt Bee took to Instagram to welcome the baby, captioning a photo of herself holding Caroline: "Welcome little Caroline and congrats @lizzyshaff and @cwshaffer, looking forward to many more chic hats!' The baby sported a bow in the photo, already embarking into the world of fashion.

Welcome Home Baby Caroline. Born 3/28/17 6lbs 14oz
